- Microsoft Windows (client: XP, Win-7, server: 2003, 2008)
- Microsoft Office series (Office 2003, Office 2007, Office 2010)
- Microsoft Exchange mal system version 2003, 2007

What you will be doing

As the new Technical Support Manager you will manage and operate all technical activities for France, especially on AV business.The Technical support is to ensure that a smooth operation is in place for my client on a technical level, and to work efficiently with all internal departments, partners and customers.
Technical Product Support.

Pre/post sale support/solution for the product range:
- Presales solution for customer requirement, tender requests and to work with internal sales team. 1st line of contact with customers and resellers.
- Spec up customer solutions and to make sure that products are at the forefront of competitors models.
- Post sales solution/support dealing with escalated issues, supporting the Sales/Product Management teams.
- To work closely with external associated partners and customers.
- Ad hoc technical support issues.
- Technical lead for product escalation between my client and HQ Business Unit.
- Work with the technical product support team and Authorized Service Providers for post sales activity.

Internal product training and documentation:
- Ensure technical solutions/documentation are in place from proactivity, feedback and escalated issues.
- Create product training material and develop training plan for internal staff.
- Ensure product knowledge is up to date and current technologies.
- Training events for internal workshops and external customers.

Event Planning:
- Work with external parties/marketing team to create booth design and layout.
- Prepare showcase product and content management.
- Onsite involvement with setup and product knowledge support during the event.

Pre-launch production test:
- Pre-production models tested for European market.
- Potential issues are tested and resolved with involvement from the HQ Business Unit.
- Technical specification and documentation are up to date.
- Demo kits available on demand for PR review and testing.

Product Management and Marketing team - assist with all activities on a technical basis- provide documentation, training, product support, trade show support:
- Sales and Service- support complete product range - pre and post sales.


* At least 3 years' experience on IT and infrastructure.
* Must be fluent in English and French.
* Microsoft Windows (client: XP, Win-7, server: 2003, 2008).
* Microsoft Office series (Office 2003, Office 2007, Office 2010).
* Microsoft Exchange mal system version 2003, 2007.
* LAN / WAN.
* Wireless setup /router administration.
* Backups (Veritas product experience preferred).
* Anti-Virus (TrendMicro experience preferred)
* PC's.
* Must have excellent communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Have good business sense knowledge.
* Good team player.
