Our client has recently launched an online learning platform (Sytems : Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Thinkific, Abacus, Google Analytics, PPC, SEO)

This platform allowing learners to dig into the hottest topics in science and Technology with expertly curated, interactive, structured courses, and hear directly from the world’s leading researchers and trusted editorial expertise.

Following a successful pilot our client is now scaling up their Academy with the ambition to produce a wide catalogue of courses, and engage with new audiences .

What you will be doing

This is a hands-on role; you will develop the marketing concepts and campaigns, the marketing schedule to account for numerous courses in the market and new launches, the customer journeys, the channel execution, testing, and the evaluation and optimisation.

As a new product and brand, a key requirement for my clients Academy is to build its customer data – you will be responsible for growing this data through your marketing strategy, and using this to nurture learners through onwards journeys, segmentation and targeting, and specific campaign planning and deployment.

This will cover initial acquisition but also onwards nurturing to drive engagement and completion of their purchased courses, satisfaction, and repeat purchasing.

The main measure of success will be delivering learner sales volume, revenue, and contribution targets for the new Academy. This will encompass learner acquisition, and engagement and retention

It will require effective management of budget and regular reporting on marketing performance.

The role:

- You will have full ownership of creating and delivering a marketing strategy to deliver enrolments and revenue.

- You will encompass my clients known audience and finding and converting new audiences through a mix of all available channels.

- The marketing must be optimised for this specific product of online courses and account for how learners progress through their purchase journey with regards to this type of product.

- The role will have a strong focus on creating, executing, and optimising digital customer journeys to take learners from awareness – consideration – purchase – engagement – repeat.

- You will encompass active development of all existing and new digital marketing channels combined with use of our print inventory, across all regions.

- You will be embedded within the Academy team as the marketing lead, and work with the rest of the marketing team to develop and deliver best practice, optimisations to your campaigns, development of new channels, and optimisation of customer journeys and friction points.

- As well as working closely with technology and data to enable your digital marketing, and creative teams to deliver marketing concepts and assets.

- You will have a role in agency management where appropriate.

Requirements

• 5 years digital marketing experience (agency or client-side).
• Expertise in developing, delivering, and optimizing multi-channel digital customer journeys.
• Ability to think strategically about the overall marketing strategy and goals, and translate this into tactical campaigns.
• Experience in developing marketing strategies from scratch.
• Ability to set-up, deliver, monitor and optimize digital campaigns.
• Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
• Confident with managing data, segmentation, targeting and growing and nurturing customer data and data analysis and the associated tools.
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
• Proactive problem solver who takes ownership.
• Experience with our key platforms, and other digital marketing tools.
• Online courses marketing experience highly preferable.
